RBM7 背景情報

RBM7 (RNA Binding Motif Protein 7) is a Protein Coding gene. The RBM7 gene, located on 11q23.1-q23.2, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. RBM7 is an RNA-binding subunit of the trimeric nuclear exosome targeting (NEXT) complex, a complex that functions as an RNA exosome cofactor that directs a subset of non-coding short-lived RNAs for exosomal degradation. NEXT is a ternary complex composed of the RNA-binding protein RBM7, the scaffold zinc-knuckle protein ZCCHC8, and the helicase MTR4. RBM7 is widely expressed in bone marrow, urinary bladder, and other tissues. 191 organisms have orthologs with the human gene RBM7.
