PIK3R2 Antibodies, cDNA Clones Research Reagents

PIK3R2 (Phosphoinositide-3-Kinase Regulatory Subunit 2) is a protein coding gene located on human chromosome 19p13.11. PIK3R2 is also known as p85, MPPH, P85B, MPPH1, and p85-BETA. The human PIK3R2 gene encodes an 81545 Da protein containing 728 amino acids. The PIK3R2 protein is ubiquitously expressed in brain, skin and other tissues. Among its related pathways are Common Cytokine Receptor Gamma-Chain Family Signaling Pathways and GDNF-Family Ligands and Receptor Interactions. PIK3R2 is related to protein heterodimerization activity and receptor tyrosine kinase binding. ENSG00000268173 is an important paralog of PIK3R2 gene. PIK3R2 is associated with some diseases, including Megalencephaly-Polymicrogyria-Polydactyly-Hydrocephalus Syndrome 1 and Megalencephaly-Capillary Malformation-Polymicrogyria Syndrome.

    PIK3R2 の背景知識

PIK3R2 and LRP6 were identified as targets of miR-126-3p. Silencing LRP6 and PIK3R2 had similar effects of miR-126-3p restoration on metastasis and angiogenesis individually in HCC cells. Furthermore, the miR-126-3p level was inversely correlated with LRP6 and PIK3R2 in HCC tissues. In addition, the rescue experiments indicated that the metastasis and angiogenesis functions of miR-126-3p were mediated by LRP6 and PIK3R2.
