PIK3R1 Antibodies, cDNA Clones Research Reagents

PIK3R1 (Phosphoinositide-3-Kinase Regulatory Subunit 1) is a protein coding gene located on human chromosome 5q13.1. PIK3R1 is also known as p85, AGM7, GRB1, IMD36, and p85-ALPHA. The human PIK3R1 gene encodes an 83598 Da protein containing 724 amino acids. The PIK3R1 protein is ubiquitously expressed in fat, brain and other tissues. Among its related pathways are Common Cytokine Receptor Gamma-Chain Family Signaling Pathways and GDNF-Family Ligands and Receptor Interactions. PIK3R1 is related to GTP binding and transcription factor binding. PIK3R2 is an important paralog of PIK3R1 gene. PIK3R1 is associated with some diseases, including Short Syndrome and Agammaglobulinemia 7, Autosomal Recessive.

    PIK3R1 の背景知識

Phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 1 (PIK3R1), which encodes protein PI3Kp85 (p85), was identified as a FOXA1 target gene. As a tumor suppressor, FOXA1 targets PIK3R1 directly to inhibit PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, thus exerting a negative regulatory effect on proliferation, migration, and invasion of HCC in male patients.
