PACSIN3 Antibodies, cDNA Clones Research Reagents

PACSIN3 (Protein Kinase C And Casein Kinase Substrate In Neurons 3, also known as SDPIII), located on 11p11.2, is a Protein Coding gene. This gene is a member of the protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons family. The gene produces a 48487 Da protein composed of 424 amino acids. Sequence analysis predicted that the human PACSIN3 protein, which is 94% identical to the mouse protein, has an N-terminal CDC15 domain and a conserved C-terminal SH3 domain preceded by a proline-rich region. Diseases such as Hereditary Motor And Sensory Neuropathy, Type Iic are associated with PACSIN3.

    PACSIN3 の背景知識

PACSIN3 (Protein Kinase C And Casein Kinase Substrate In Neurons 3) is a Protein Coding gene. The PACSIN3 gene, located on 11p11.2, is conserved in chimpanzee, Rhesus monkey, dog, cow, mouse, rat, chicken, zebrafish, and frog. This gene is a member of the protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons family. The encoded protein is involved in linking the actin cytoskeleton with vesicle formation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Diseases associated with PACSIN3 include Hereditary Motor And Sensory Neuropathy, Type Iic and Metatropic Dysplasia. Among its related pathways are Vesicle-mediated transport and Clathrin-mediated endocytosis. PACSIN3 has been shown to interact with PACSIN1 and PACSIN2.
