MRPL3 Antibodies, cDNA Clones Research Reagents

MRPL3 (Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein L3, also known as MRL3; RPML3; COXPD9), located on 3q22.1, is a Protein Coding gene. This gene encodes a 39S subunit protein that belongs to the L3P ribosomal protein family and is widely expressed in the thyroid, colon, and other tissues. The deduced 349-amino acid protein has a calculated molecular mass of 38 kD. MRPL3 shares 84% and 62% sequence identity with the rat homolog and the ribosomal protein L3 of E. coli, respectively. Diseases such as Combined Oxidative Phosphorylation Deficiency 9 and Penicilliosis are associated with MRPL3.

    MRPL3 の背景知識

MRPL3 (Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein L3, also known as MRL3, RPML3, and COXPD9) is a Protein Coding gene. The MRPL3 gene, located on 3q22.1, is conserved in chimpanzee, dog, cow, mouse, and rat, etc. MRPL3 belongs to the universal ribosomal protein uL3 family. This gene encodes a 39S subunit protein that belongs to the L3P ribosomal protein family. A pseudogene corresponding to this gene is found on chromosome 13q. MRPL3 is widely expressed in the thyroid, colon, and other tissues. Diseases associated with MRPL3 include Combined Oxidative Phosphorylation Deficiency 9 and Penicilliosis. Among its related pathways are Organelle biogenesis and maintenance and Viral mRNA Translation.
